Since June 2009, the IFRA collection and the collection of the British Institute in Eastern Africa have been merged. This joint collection now available relates mainly to East Africa and the research themes developed by the two institutes: it provides access to more than 15,000 books and 60,000 periodicals, more than 200 thesis, and press reviews which can be accessed in a 150m2 library. Access requires IFRA and/or BIEA membership.
Library members can borrow up to 4 books over 2 weeks. Journals cannot be borrowed. JSTOR access available.
