Globafrica is 4 year-research ANR-funded programme that interrogates the integration of Africa to the world in the long term. It brings together 3 French research institutes based in Africa (IFRA-Nairobi, IFAS and IFRA Nigeria). Historian Adrien Delmas (Centre Jacques Berque) is in charge of Gloafrica scientific coordination.
In Kenya, it is coordinated by historian Christian Thibon, IFRA’s former Director. It focuses on the history of the Great Lakes and the diffusion of plants in the region. This programme will end in March 2019.
