Globafrica is 4 year-research programme interrogating the integration of Africa to the world in the long term. It is based in the three French research institutes based in Africa (IFRA, IFAS and IFRA Nigeria) and it is coordinated, in Kenya, by Christian Thibon, the former IFRA director, together with Elizabeth Vignati, Emile Mworaha, Carla Bochetti. It focuses on the history of the Great Lakes and the diffusion of plants in the region.
