Since June 2009, IFRA has been sharing premises with the British Institute in Eastern Africa. The BIEA and IFRA libraries have merged to offer a significant increase in the number and range of titles available. Members can access various journals online.

 

The library is on free access. Only BIEA members can borrow books from the library. Each member can borrow up to a maximum of four books in a period of two weeks. JSTOR access available.

 

Subscription rates for 2012: Ksh 2000 - East African membership; GPD 20 - Non-East African citizens membership

Opening Hours: Monday - Friday 8:15am – 4:30pm (closed between 12.30 and 1.30pm for lunch)

The Library remains closed on weekends, and both Kenyan and French Public Holidays.
