Call for Applications for Fieldwork Grants-2017
IFRA-Nairobi is offering fieldwork grants to masters and doctoral students to conduct their research in 2016 in one of the five East African countries covered by the Institute: Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Burundi and Rwanda.
IFRA’s main research themes include: political dynamics, culture and society, economy and land issues.
For this fieldwork grants’session, research topics on :
- the next Kenyan elections,
- informal economy and
will be particularly appreciated.
The application forms should be sent by November 10th, 2016
NOTE: Grants offered are not subject to taxes, and do not include open rights to social security. Scholarship beneficiaries must provide a written report which might be published by IFRA if deemed satisfactory.
