New website and new online resources : IFRA Nairobi supports open access to knowledge!
IFRA ‘s team is delighted to introduce its new website. It is of course a renovated tool of communication. But, for us, it is first and foremost a way to give an open access to a diversity of scientific documents, to promote the exchange of knowledge, to expose East African research to the world. Like more and more research and learning institutions in the world, IFRA Nairobi believes that knowledge needs to be shared freely and should not be restricted.
In this new website, you will find access to our working papers Mambo !, to our journal Les Cahiers d’Afrique de l’Est, to 200 master and phD digitalized thesis, to dozens of thousands of press cuttings, to our online catalogue, etc. Offering this open access requires time and resources, so we will attempt to expand this access gradually to new and more resources.
We sincerely hope that researchers will make the best use of these and will continue working with IFRA to strengthen our partnership and the production of knowledge on East African societies.
