Title: Mapping of Kenyan Associations, Movements and NGOs for Development
Length: 4 months
Starting Date: 1st April 2019

Following field work and archival research, the intern will submit a report (mapping) on Kenyan associations, movements and NGOs for development (or ‘the civil society’) as well as relevant think tanks based in Nairobi or Kenya as a whole. He/she will submit a detailed report at the end of his/her internship that brings together this information in a structured and coherent manner.

Candidate’s profile:

– Student in the course of his/her Masters Degree in Development Studies or Political Sciences
– Proficient in English and Swahili
– Highly organised and capable of working independently; excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work in an international team
– Good knowledge of Microsoft Office
– Previous professional experience in Nairobi, or beyond
– Knowledge of French would be an advantage
