CHRIPS, MSJC and IFRA-Nairobi thank everyone for their participation to the two-day conference and forum on police violence in Kenya and France.

Academics and activists shared questions and some preliminary answers : Where does this violence come from? Why is it sometimes considered as legitimate? What mobilisations are efficient to fight against them?

We especially thank our colleagues and friends from France, and the activists and residents of Mathare with whom we shared painful experiences and solidarity.
